The Gentlemen’s Ball - 2008

On October 15, 2008, GQ hosted The Gentlemen’s Ball, a private fundraising event to benefit the charities supported by GQ's philanthropic initiative, The Gentlemen’s Fund. Held in New York City, The Gentlemen’s Ball hosted 300 guests and raised more than $300,000 over the course of the evening.

The Gentlemen’s Fund celebrity ambassadors—Usher, Forest Whitaker, Mark Wahlberg, Timbaland, and Steve Nash (via video)—were all in attendance, and the evening kicked off with a few poignant words from Usher, as he delivered an ode to the modern gentleman in his opening remarks.
